Our mission

We build the instrument biotech teams use to see every path before they choose: the evidence read, the reasoning shown, the forecast on the record.

Why Sightegy exists

Kairos began as my own frustration. Building ventures, I had to make positioning and partnering calls without a business-development team, from evidence scattered across trial registries, filings and deal announcements. And I saw colleagues with excellent science face the same calls, with no access to the tools large pharma takes for granted. Sightegy exists so that early-stage teams don't have to.

Bogdan RivoalFounder, Sightegy

Large pharma has whole strategy teams for the calls that make or break a programme. Most early-stage biotechs still make them on slide decks and instinct.

Sightegy was founded in Zürich in July 2025 to close that gap. It builds Kairos.

The decisions we exist for

  • Which indication first?
  • When to raise, and how much?
  • Who to partner with?
  • Is the science strong enough to back?

Principles

Four rules we don't bend.

The difference between an opinion and a decision you can defend in front of a board.

  1. 01

    Show the source.

If a claim cannot open the passage it came from, it does not belong in a decision.

  2. 02

    Compute, don't generate.

Language models read and propose. A probability belongs to a model that shows every step it took.

  3. 03

    Count the failures.

A base rate that forgets the ventures that dissolved flatters everyone. The failures belong in the count.

  4. 04

    Keep score.

Write the forecast down before the outcome, with a date. Then let the outcome grade it.

What we build

One platform, built on the evidence.

Kairos for the decision itself, with every line traced to its source.

The founder

Bogdan Rivoal

FounderStrategic Advisor & AI Platform Architect

Scientist, strategist, AI architect.

A molecular biologist with 15+ years in RNA biology, oncology and liquid biopsy. After a PhD at Institut Pasteur / Sorbonne and a postdoc at Institut Curie, Bogdan founded and led the RNA Biology group at ETH Zürich, then served as Programme Director and NIH Principal Investigator at the University of Zürich, leading a $2.2M NIH U19 consortium across UZH, ETH Zürich, TGen and UCSF.

He has held go/no-go and budget authority over $3M+ of R&D, advises biotech leaders and investment committees on indication, diligence, partnering and fundraising, and designed and built Kairos end to end.

The road ahead

Every milestone dated. Including the ones ahead.

A company that logs its forecasts before the outcome should date its own plans too.
